Overall Design of the High Speed Door Servo System
The high-speed rolling shutter door consists of a door frame system, a door curtain system, a sensor device, a drive motor, and a servo drive. Operating at speeds exceeding 0.6 meters per second, the rolling shutter door acts as an accessible isolation door, allowing for rapid and smooth raising and lowering. Its primary function is to quickly isolate and maintain air quality and dust-free conditions in the workshop. It offers numerous functions, including insulation, cold protection, insect protection, windproofing, dustproofing, noise prevention, fireproofing, odor prevention, and lighting.
A rapid rolling door's opening and closing cycle proceeds as follows: After the installed sensor detects the door opening signal, the PLC controller analyzes and processes the signal, controlling the motor to open the rapid automatic door. After the door leaf opens, the PLC control system analyzes and processes the signal. When the rolling door needs to close, the motor reverses, completing the closing motion. Incorporating MCGS configuration monitoring technology, the MCGS touch screen communicates with the PLO, enabling real-time monitoring of the automatic door's operating status and performance.
Rapid Rolling Door Hardware Design
Control Requirements for Rapid Rolling Door Systems
When someone passes through the photoelectric detection switch, current flows through the switch. Because the open limit switch is normally closed, current flows through the coil, causing the motor to rotate forward. When the limit switch position is reached, the motor stops.
When the automatic door reaches the limit switch position, an 8-second delay timer starts, and the door automatically closes. When the door moves to the limit switch, the motor reverses and stops.
During the closing process, if a person enters the rolling shutter door and passes the photoelectric detection switch, the shutter door should immediately stop closing and automatically begin the door opening process.
If a person passes the photoelectric detection switch from outside to inside or from inside to outside during the 8-second waiting period after the door opens, the shutter door must wait another 8 seconds before automatically closing to ensure personal safety.
To address the possibility of automatic door failures or emergencies, the control system adds manual door opening and closing switches, assigning two operating modes to the fast rolling shutter door: automatic mode and manual mode.
